How do I perform better at running hills?

Hi Lee,
How do I perform better at running hills? I live on Sydney's North Shore so I run a lot of hills. The problem is, I find that most people who I pass on the flat then pass me on the hills as I am struggling.

Hi Walter,

To perform better on running hills you need to incorporate more of them into your training. Doing hills as a session is one way and another way is to incorporate more of them into your long runs. This is a great way of getting you fitter and stronger, but the only down-side is that it just takes time before your body starts to benefit from this training and you get to notice the difference.
