What is your job? Navy, leaving Navy this year after 23 years to work from home

What do you do for fun? Read, learn, golf, exercise, run, trading forex & futures markets

When did you start running? 2004

What time are you aiming for with your next event? Will this be your personal best or your debut at the distance? Sydney marathon 2011 3:25. This is my first marathon since 2008 after injury, so not aiming for a PB.

Why do you run? Longevity, Health for Body & Mind. Relax. Great way to check out a new town/city.

What is favorite training session?
I am now enjoying interval training, as this is new for me. I also do love the long run.


Do you have long-term goal in running? If yes, maybe, you’d like to share? Long term running goal is to run for life - and remain injury free. Also ultra marathons if my marathon return goes well & injury free, maybe Comrades South Africa 2013 (89 km's)


What do you think of Marathon Guru? It's great, and helps keep me on track with a schedule. Also gives me confidence following it as its developed from experts with proven track records.
